Okra (Bhindi) & Barbatti seeds packets were distributed free of cost to needy women groups in Khairlanji and neighbouring gram panchayat areas of Balaghat district with the help of various Gramin Kalyan Sansthan working under Gram Panchayats.

VNR Seeds staff trained women group to inculcate habit of sowing seeds in the available fertile land and initiate a self-sustained earning process for themselves and family. They were also given technical training to ensure better farming practices.

Sarpanchs and office bearers of various Gram Kalyan sansthan provided all the necessary support and made the program a great success.
